School Supplies

We collect donation thought the year to buy school supplies which we then deliver to the children and community members of Haiti twice a year, in August and January.

Education

Of the approximately 3.5 million school-age children in Haiti, 800,000 do not have access to education. Due to the inability to afford school fees, the average child receives only five years of schooling. Through our free annual scholarship program, we aim to provide scholarships so that more children can access their right to education and literacy. We have partnered with Collège Mixte El Shaddai, which offers kindergarten, primary and secondary education. Your support will allow us to continue.

Healthcare

Access to healthcare is at an all-time low, predominantly among the poorest in Haiti. Gio’s House will assist in providing quality healthcare to those who need it most at no cost. Once complete, the Gio’s House of Hope Orphanage will be home to on-site primary and preventative care services for the children and community of Haiti.

Summer Camp

To keep the children out of the street Gio’s House provide summer camp program every two days a week (Monday and Friday), Gio’s staff and volunteers worked to provide children with meals, Gospel lessons, games and activities, and more. Your support will allow us to continue the summer program.

After School/ Feeding Program

During the school year, we host an After School / Feeding Program for children in Haiti Petion-Ville Publin. Three days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) Gio’s staff and volunteers spend time with students after school to provide them meals, help with homework, activities, school supplies, tuition assistance and more. Your support allows us to assist the children of Haiti all school year long ensuring their success and quality education.

Sharing the Gospel

At Collège Mixte El Shaddai, they offer bible class every where students are given the opportunity to explore the teachings of the Christian faith in a structured and supportive environment. In these classes, students learn about the Bible, its stories, and the teachings of Jesus Christ, which help to shape their values and moral compass.
